LOOK2015 is the primary fundraiser for Contemporary Calgary. This year, the organization had a clear goal and vision: to bring together Calgary’s cultural revolutionaries together on one night to raise the $1 Million required to establish the first phase of Calgary’s first significant public destination for modern and contemporary art. Over nearly 10 months, Shareworthy worked with a brilliant group of collaborators (Contemporary Calgary’s team, LOOK2015’s dedicated event committee, and talented event producers Boom Goes the Drum)  as lead of the marketing and communications committee. Reporting to Contemporary Calgary and the LOOK2015 committee, Shareworthy developed strategy and managed social media, media relations, and marketing initiatives for the event. LOOK2015 achieved its goal and raised $1 Million. In 2016, Calgary can expect to experience ‘Temporary Contemporary’ – a pop-up gallery in Contemporary Calgary’s new home, the former Centennial Planetarium, as work kicks off the on the formal phases of construction on the building.
