In the summer of 2015, concepts were finally revealed for the revitalization of Calgary’s West Village, anchored by a potential sports venue dubbed ‘CalgaryNEXT’. The launch of the proposed project included preliminary creative and a community-focused website, along with a PR rollout to educate and engage with the media, season ticket holders and other stakeholders. The project received nationwide attention and dialogue.
Shareworthy supported the initial launch with social media strategy, set up, account management and media (traditional and social) reporting in collaboration with V Strategies. Management consisted of managing three growing accounts and monitoring a hashtag that garnered more than 10 million impressions within days of launch.
