You Should Attend: SocialWest 2016

In just about one month, SocialWest will welcome hundreds of professionals to the largest social media and marketing conference on the prairies. SocialWest, presented by Mike Morrison, will run June 15-17 at the iconic Globe Cinema on Stephen Avenue. Alex is honoured to be a speaker at the event, and Shareworthy is one of the many groups supporting the organizing committee to make this thing a reality in our city.

Who should be there?

Anyone making an effort to better use social media and digital marketing for their business. I have colleagues attending who are one-man-marketing machines doing everything and wanting to up their social game, agency partners looking to keep on the edge of trends, and clients who want to better understand how to spend their advertising dollars. There is a fabulous collection of presenters and instructors HERE.

Why should you go?

  • Great value: You ticket includes not only the basics (over 30 presenters & two keynotes) but also three hosted after-parties and snack/drink breaks by dynamite local makers like Rosso Coffee and Fiasco Gelato.
  • Great options: There are always two sessions happening at once, so you’ll have the choice of two presenters and two topics during every session to keep your efforts focused.
  • Be in the room where it happens: The event attracts some of Western Canada’s most innovative marketing professionals. You’ll be able to meet, exchange and network with the game-changers in our community – maybe someone you can help or who could help you!
